City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation & Parks

Excellent professional facilitators!  Vince and Marissiko facilitated thought-provoking DEI workshops on topics of Implicit Bias & Microaggressions and Social Identities with Senior Staff of the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.  The training provided staff a deeper understanding of the importance of fostering an inclusive and belonging environment, analysis of case study scenarios and social identity reflections.  Vince and Marissiko were knowledgeable on the topics and created a safe space for open dialogue, which allowed for meaningful group discussions and an activity on personal reflections. Overall, staff deemed the workshops very useful and felt more confident in applying tools and strategies learned from the training.  Greer Consulting is exceptional with their presentation and delivery, and I highly recommend them for their facilitated workshops.

Dr. Marissiko Wheaton-Greer of Greer Consulting provided such nuanced and esteemed guidance to our team. We asked her to speak during our monthly wide-org meeting to lead a discussion focused on the Black Women's Employee Lifecycle infographic which she co-developed. Dr. Wheaton-Greer appreciates the difficulty of DEIB work and understands the importance of illuminating experiences of inequity to transform lived experiences for all.
