Vince Greer, M.Ed.

Vince is the co-founder of Greer Consulting firm. Greer Consulting partners on short and long term projects with educators, K-12 school leaders, college and university administrators, non-profit organizations, corporate professionals, as well as local community leaders to provide direct consultation and coaching on dismantling structural, systemic, and intersectional inequities within and beyond organizations.

Vince’s career totals nearly 20 years of experience working within higher education/academia and he has a specific content focus and expertise in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. In his first stint at Claremont McKenna College’s (CMC), he served as the Inaugural Dean for Diversity and Inclusion. He now is the current Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs for Dialogue and Diversity at Claremont McKenna College.

Prior to his current appointment, Vince has also worked in various progressive roles and responsibilities over the course of his career including most recently as the Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students at the neighboring Pitzer College. Greer also has professional stints at DePauw University, Simmons College, Northeastern University and Brown University.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing from DePauw University, and earned his MEd with a Higher Education Administration Specialization from Northeastern University.

Marissiko Wheaton-Greer, Ph.D

Dr. Marissiko Wheaton-Greer earned her B.A. in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine before going on to attain her M.A. in Higher Education/Student Personnel Administration from New York University. During her career as a practitioner in higher education, Marissiko has worked in a variety of areas including multicultural services, social justice education, service-learning, leadership development and residence life. Marissiko committed the majority of her academic career deepening her knowledge and understanding of identity, critical consciousness building and activism. In 2019, she completed her Ph.D in Urban Education Policy at the University of Southern California. Marissiko's research and practice specialize in equity-oriented leadership, identity development and organizational change.

Marissiko is currently the Assistant Dean and Director of Scripps Community of Resources and Empowerment (SCORE) at Scripps College — a women’s college in Claremont, California. In her role, she serves on the Chief Diversity Officer team while overseeing the campus equity center where she manages all diversity, equity and inclusion programmatic efforts on campus.

Prior to this role she worked at the Center for Urban Education (CUE) and Race & Equity Center at the University of Southern California as a Project Manager and Postdoctoral Scholar. In response to the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, she curated and organized a six-part webinar series funded by the California community college system, which focused on racial equity in virtual classrooms and student support services. Marissiko is also an active community organizer, and an Adjunct Professor in two graduate-level programs.
